QTRA QTRA QTRA

Plant demand in.
Pipes, schedules and BOQ out.

QTRA designs bubbler, drip and sprinkler irrigation in one workspace. Set the plant demands once, and every zone, valve, schedule and quantity follows.

From plant to pipe in six moves.

Scroll through a real QTRA workflow on a small sample site: two bubbler zones, a drip bed and a lawn, each on its own solenoid valve.

1

Set the plant demands

Trees 80 L/day, palms 120, grass 15 L/m². The defaults are ready, and you change them once, in Irrigation Requirements.

2

Draw the zones and valves

Group the planting into bubbler, drip and sprinkler zones, each on a solenoid valve off the main line.

3

Size the laterals

One sizing table, with size, maximum flow, colour, layer and line type, drives all three designers.

4

Run the hydraulics In development

The open-source EPANET engine models the main and every valve’s laterals, one valve at a time or as a whole run set.

5

Build the schedules

The valve schedule and the irrigation schedule come straight from the design, so they never drift from the drawing.

6

Issue the BOQ

Pipe lengths, valves, heads, bubblers and emitters, counted from the drawing and ready to price.

Three systems. One network.

Bubblers, drip lines and sprinklers share the same demands, the same lateral sizes and the same main. Open one to see what it handles.

Choose how many bubblers or emitters each tree and palm gets. QTRA carries them on the lateral and totals the demand per valve.

Drag the sliders. The daily volume uses the QTRA default demands, the same numbers every designer reads.

QTRA – Sample site
Project

Less rework. More water where it counts.

Small decisions that take repeat work out of every irrigation project.

    One lateral sizing table

Size, maximum flow, colour, layer, line width, line type and an active tick. Set once, used by all three designers.

    Requirements in one place

Demands, bubblers and emitters per tree and palm, and drip specs for groundcover, shrubs and succulents.

Your DXF travels with the project

Import a background drawing once. QTRA saves it inside the project file, so you never hunt for it again.

    Every valve on one view

The Main Network view shows all solenoid valve types, so the whole system reads at a glance.

    One self-contained app

A single Windows application, with nothing extra to install alongside it.

    Diagnostics under Help

When something looks wrong, QTRA collects what support needs to fix it quickly.
